June 8, World Oceans Day was celebrated in Batumi Boulevard for the first time. Experts invited by the Boulevard, for the purpose of raising awareness of protection of waters and seas, have conducted cognitive presentations on the thematic of the sea, for pupils. The meeting in the open space of the boulevard was an interactive and the pupils were involved in discussions.

The literary club "Literpollo" presented "The Old Man and the Sea" Ernest Hemingway’s in a different format. The presentation focused on the ocean, as an important phenomenon of nature and on reflection of this importance in literature and reality.

Pupils of school "Gorda" have also presented with thematic presentations, they talked about ocean layers and water dwellers. Great interest aroused the interactive about dolphins presented by the representatives of the Batumi Dolphinarium.

Batumi Boulevard has already organized several similar educational meetings. According to the director of the Boulevard Irakli Jincharadze, boulevard is ready to offer to educational institutions a space for conducting open cognitive and thematic lessons and presentations.
