Batumi Boulevard marked the World Children's Day

The event dedicated to World Children's Day was organized by LEPL "Batumi Boulevard". Within the scope of the event, the pupils' pictures of the Ajarian region were exhibited on the theme "My Welfare" and the ten best parent's "Letter to the Child", who were awarded by the Boulevard administration representatives with memorable gifts and certificates.

At yesterday's event, the head of the boulevard Irakli Jincharadze announced the new initiative, which includes the implementation of the noble aim of child care. One of the initiatives implies placing of containers in the boulevard area for the purpose of collecting clothing and books for Children Without Parental Care. The Chairman of the Government of Adjara presented a special certificate of appreciation for the invaluable activities in the field of childcare, held in the region, to the representative of the UNICEF Children's Fund

Within the scope of the event, Batumi Boulevard, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Adjara, Social Service Agency and Batumi Sh.Rustaveli State University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, the aim of which is to promote children's education in the future, ensuring a safe environment and their involvement in public activities. From the next year, From the next year, Batumi Boulevard in coordinated with the governmental and non-governmental sector plans to actively implement social projects in order to care for socially vulnerable children.
