The decision was made by the Government of Adjara, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Adjara, Batumi City Hall to support small and medium businesses.

The current tenants of Batumi Boulevard will be given the space directly before the end of the year, considering the pandemic, like last year. In the 2021 agreement, all the terms of the previous year will remain unchanged.

Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara Jaba Putkaradze introduced the decision to the tenants together with the acting Mayor of Batumi Archil Chikovani.

"Unfortunately, against the background of the pandemic, the tourist season is not perfect, which has created problems for many people, including tenants, small and medium-sized businesses. A decision has been made which will be a kind of benefit for both individuals and legal entities to pass this season with minimal financial losses, "- said Jaba Putkaradze.

At the request of the Government of Adjara, the local governments will also discuss the extension of contracts with preferential terms for tenants.
