On June 15, the tourist season officially opened. Batumi hosted a summer festival. The event was held near the Alphabet Tower, where entrance was free. A variety of program were presented in connection with the opening of the season. The bands "MGZAVREBI", "TAMADA", "ASEA SUL", "KILLAGES", "SEE SIDE" and "BSU TECHNO BAND OFFSIDE" took care of creating the mood of the guests.

It was a beautiful sight to see colorful kites flying in the sky, and fireworks at the end of the event.
