Construction of a new international level skate-roller park is underway in Batumi, it will be located on the territory of New Boulevard on an area of 4800 square meters Within the framework of the infrastructure project, it is planned to arrange elements for skateboarding, pump tracks, recreation spaces, spectator stands, adapted toilets and lighting system. The arrangement of the underground communication network has already been completed.

Currently, the construction of decorative arches and recreation spaces is underway. In addition, the ground preparation works for the surface of the field are being carried out.

Today, Chairman of the Government of Adjara Tornike Rizhvadze, Mayor of Batumi Archil Chikovani, Vice-Mayor Levan Davitadze, together with Director of Batumi Boulevard Lasha Mikeladze, inspected the ongoing works on the skate park. Lasha Mikeladze emphasized the priority and importance of sports infrastructure. According to him, in the spring, one of the large-scale spaces with an international license will be added to the region in the form of a skate park, which will contribute to the activation of sports life.

The new project was developed in accordance with the "Batumi Boulevard Development and Construction Plan" and in accordance with the standards of the World International Skateboarding Federation. With its functional load, it will be aimed at all age groups, both professionals and amateurs, and will promote a healthy lifestyle.

The multifunctional sports space will be one of the favorite places for extreme sports lovers and a new center of attraction for young people, which will become the best place for holding both local and international level events.

This project is being implemented by the construction company “Anagi”, the budget of project is 3,165,138 GEL.
