For the first time in its history, LEPL Batumi Boulevard will have a plan of development.

On July 18, LEPL Batumi Boulevard has announced electronic contest for procurement service of research, functional zoning and drafting of dendrological project documentation for elaboration of development plan.

The development plan envisages elaboration of the future development vision of the boulevard, as well as conserving the old boulevard, preserving and restoring the historically formed appearance without significant interventions and changes, protecting and strengthening the cultural heritage values ​​of the boulevard.

The main goal of the project is to develop the Batumi Boulevard Rehabilitation and Development Plan by preserving and underscoring its landscape, architectural and artistic values. Must be created a comfortable and safe recreational environment, with relevant functions and zones for all groups of locals and international tourists - children, young people, elderly.

The project comprises three parts: research part, development plan and part of guidelines. Admission of applications to the electronic competition will begin on August 14 and will finished on August 19.

NGOs and government agencies and experts in the field were involved in a commission of elaboration of technical tasks of the Batumi Boulevard Development Plan. After completion of the competition the selection commission, also staffed by experts in the field, will accept the project documentation.
