The coastline on the new boulevard, polluted by the storm, is cleaned up from the morning. Several units of special equipment are working at the site, the personnel of Batumi Boulevard and "Sanitation" Ltd have been mobilized. As a result of the storm, several sections of the new boulevard were mostly covered with rubble, where the existing garden infrastructure will be restored as soon as possible.

“For the second day, liquidation works have been intensively carried out. Municipal Services and mobile groups of Batumi Boulevard went into emergency mode. At this stage, we do not have significant losses, however, the damaged small infrastructure of the park will be promptly restored as soon as possible”, said Sophio Lazishvili, the acting director of Batumi Boulevard.

Full-scale cleaning activities will be completed within two days. No storm condition has been reported on the coast at this time.
