"Boulevard Festival 2023" will be held on October 20-21

"Boulevard Festival 2023" will be held under the organization of Batumi Boulevard, on October 20-21. The two-day festival includes an international scientific conference and cultural and entertainment events.

The first international scientific conference "Possibilities of Management and Development of Recreational Parks" will start on October 20 th at 10:00 am in the Hilton Hotel. Both Georgian and invited foreign specialists will be involved. The purpose of the conference is to share the existing modern approaches and experiences in the management of similar types of urban parks and recreational areas. The topics of the conference are varied and include such issues as the importance of recreational parks in the development of cities, ecology, greening and landscape design, history, tourism and others. The conference will feature presentations and discussions.

October 21, the second day of the festival, will be dedicated to various entertainment events. From 10:00 in the morning, from the area nearby the Alphabet Tower, the cycle marathon will start which will end on the walking path near the airport.

Beautified with decorations and installations, the main festival space adjacent to Colonnade will host visitors from 12:00 to 23:00, where various cultural, children s and educational activities will be held throughout the day. A costumed performance reviving the history of the boulevard, a photo exhibition depicting the old and modern boulevard, a branded presentation corner of the boulevard, the university zone and artists corner, a film screening area, an entrepreneurial market and more.

As part of the Boulevard Festival, at 17:00, an awarding ceremony for the meritorious employees of the Boulevard will be held at space of the recently rehabilitated Colonnade. At the end of the day, the festival will be closed by everyone s favorite band “SALIO”. Together with it, the local band "Seaside" and DJ "CHIKI" will take care of raising the musical mood. The Boulevard Festival will be held for the first time this year and its main goal is to raise awareness about the historical and cultural value of the Boulevard.
